Welcome
We would like to welcome you to the fourth annual Chandler Sackett Memorial 5k/1 mile fun run on April 27 2024 beginning at 11 a.m. at Houghton University Field of Dreams. Houghton Academy and The Sackett Family are partnering to accomplish the following:
​
1. To remember the life of Chandler.
2. To bring awareness to the importance of mental health in our community.
3. To support and promote local agencies providing mental health services (Ardent Solutions).
4. To provide financial support to Allegany County students who wish to attend Houghton Academy.
Registration fee including a t-shirt is $20 (If registered by Aril 19 2024), donations are welcomed!
Chandler Sackett
Chandler Sackett was a loving son, brother, and student at Houghton Academy. Chandler always had a huge smile, and everyone enjoyed his friendly personality. He was inclusive, and his friend group included many different people of different grades. As he passed in the hallway, he always greeted and smiled at people even if they weren’t close to him. Chandler was very diligent in his studies and active in the student body, running track and participating in a variety of clubs.
